Meet The Owner, Amanda Dames
Hello, I'm Amanda Dames. Originally from Brazil, I've called this country home for 23 years, where I live with my South African husband and our daughter. Hairdressing is more than just my profession; it's a profound passion, a creative outlet, and even a form of therapy. There's a unique joy I find in hair coloring, particularly with blondes. As I often say, 'Hair chose me.'
My journey began in 2010, offering Brazilian keratin treatments from my garage, which quickly evolved into a bustling schedule. Within three years, I was specializing in hair color, especially for blonde clients. In addition to my expertise as a colorist, I also offer Brazilian and full-body waxing, as well as henna eyebrow design. I believe every client in my chair deserves to leave feeling more confident and joyful than when they arrived.

With a license dating back to 2005, I began my cosmetology journey in Nashville, TN. There, I honed my expertise in hair cutting, coloring, highlighting, and facial waxing, a passion I continuously evolve through new techniques and products.
My ultimate goal is to enhance each client's unique, natural beauty, helping them feel like their most confident self. In 2018, the allure of the beach called, and my husband, our puppy, and I embraced the "island time" life in Gulf Shores, savoring the beautiful coast and always on the hunt for great local food!
